What are the types of chanter reeds people prefer for solos?

My favorite chanter reeds have always been those made by Willie MacRostie. Unfortunately, he's no longer making reeds. I've been nursing the ones I've got that were made by him for almost 40 years.

Ross and Warmac reeds in my MC2 have been a good combo for me.
